Your Health

SYGMA offers its associates medical insurance coverage for you and your family. All SYGMA locations offer a SYSCO self-insured Managed Choice Plan which includes Medical, Dental and Vision coverage. Some locations also offer employees a choice between the Manager Choice program and a local HMO.
To be used for associate personal illness, doctor and dentist appointments or time needed to care for dependent family members who are ill.
SYGMA's salary continuation plan provides financial protection for associates with non-work related illness or injuries which cause absences from work for more than two (2) consecutive weeks. Benefits are based on associate's length of service with SYGMA.
Associates who become totally disabled for an extended period of time are provided long-term disability coverage.
SYGMA provides no cost accidental death and dismemberment coverage to associates. Associates may elect to purchase addition coverage for themselves or purchase a family plan for all eligible dependents.

SYGMA Associates are eligible to participate in our 401k plan beginning with the first of the month following the date of hire.
The stock purchase plan gives associates the opportunity to purchase SYSCO stock at a discounted price through payroll deductions.

SYGMA offers competitive vacation leave to both full and part time associates. In addition to paid holidays, eligible associates also receive three floating holidays per year to take at a time mutually agreed upon between the associates and their supervisor (with a two week notification).
This plan provides legal advice on certain subject matters.
SYGMA works with Ford, Dell and many other discount programs to offer our associates discounted goods and services.
SYGMA offers its associates a Confidential Employee Assistance Program.
